Bay Runners began when a couple of friends from San Francisco went for a late-night run with a small speaker. A few months later, 50+ people are gathering every week. We added exercise stops to keep everyone together and up the sweat. And as our legs got faster, the speakers got louder and the friendships got stronger. We invite everyone to join us. Our signature event! 10k run with music and 5 exercise stops. Most of us run between 6:30-9:30min/mile - but we stop every few km for bootcamp style exercises, led by the crew. At these exercise stops, fast runners workout for longer and chatty runners have a chance to catch up! Expect a lively group warm up and a yoga style cool down. There’s often a drink afterwards too!
